I. Choir Committee
A. Personnel: composes of Choir Director, Assistant Director, Choir Leader, Secretary / Treasurer, and all Section Leaders.
B. Duties
1. Choir Director:
-With due respect as the member responsible for the church music of the parish, the Choir Director has the duty of bridging the parish with the choir.
-Arrange the music, rehearse, and direct each Sunday mass including any other masses.
-Guide the Choir Committee in both internal and external affairs.
2. Choir Leader:
-Collaborate with Choir Director to carry out all internal and external activities.
-Set up and regulate all choir meetings of the Choir Committee and the choir.
3. Assistant Director:
-Assist Choir Director with choir rehearsals and directing all masses.
-Substitute the Choir Director as the duty of a member of choral music when necessary.
4. Secretary / Treasurer:
-Setup Choir Committee and choir meeting agendas.
-Create a spending log of the choir and report funds every 6 months.
-Sort all letters, forms, and all other related documents.
-Create an active list of choir members (must update regularly).
5. Section Leaders:
-Assist Choir Director and Choir Leader carry out all internal activities.
-Take attendance and encourage choir members to be actively involved in activities regularly and punctually.
-Report activities, cummulate all suggested ideas by members.
-Distribute and collect all music books during each rehearsal and/or event.
-In charge of break periods during choir rehearsal (duties and spending rates will be distributed by the Choir Committee to accommodate).
II. Individual Committees:
A. Personnel: composes of Liturgy Committee, Activities Committee, Receptionist Committee, Communications Committee, Entertainment Committee, Band & Music Committee, and Food Services Committee.
Duties
1. Liturgy Committee:
-Choose members and distribute duty of reading Mass Introductions and Parish Prayers for each Sunday mass.
-Help collect Parish News & Events flyers each Sunday Mass.
-Choose members to perform Sunday mass readings, and Parish Prayers for certain masses pertaining to the individual choir.
2. Activities Committee:
-Plan out dates and activities during the year (like picnics, camps, road trips, parties, etc.) for the choir.
-Be the host/coordinator for each outdoor and athletic activity.
-Choose and get together members to run each station of the choir during the New Year's celebration.
3. Receptionist Committee:
-Greet all visitors and guests during special celebration masses of the choir.
4. Communications Committee:
-Responsible for web pages of the choir and the band.
-Report news and events internally.
-Update active members list regularly and activities calendar of the choir.
5. Entertainment Committee:
-Sort agenda for all entertainment events in the parish.
-Distribute duties, encourage, and establish all entertainment events.
6. Band & Music Committee:
-Responsible for accompanying for all Sunday masses and all other masses within the parish.
-Responsible for the sound system and accompanying of all entertainment events in the parish.
7. Food Services Committee:
-Responsible for preparing food and beverages for all get together events, meetings, and outdoor activities of the choir.
-Committee Leader has the duty of discussing food menu and distribution of jobs for all "cooks".
